Welcome! I am Amaya, the Sun From Leo. A Renaissance Womban if you will because cultivation is my niche. I am taking my place in the sun and getting my share of the world. Thank you for standing in the sun with me.
I am pursuing a JD and a PhD to further explore and examine consciousness, reality, identity, and sovereignty. In and out of my programs, I am researching and honoring: how inner worlds shape outer worlds, the African diaspora (most particularly, the African American community), and the Polynesian diaspora (most particularly, the Kānaka ʻŌiwi community).
I am the founder of Pod & Pride, a family enrichment ecosystem made for families to cultivate their habits and health via fitness, skill-building, and wellness— together. I am building a life, career, and business that bridges the humanities and sciences.
My journey reflects how I set containers to follow my passions and curiosity (Leo Sun, Sag Moon, Cap Rising). I created this website to serve as my digital solarium*. I am a mom, student, doula, and founder. Welcome into my light. Let’s stand in the sun together, for we are all our own sun.
